It’s a Noisy World
Packed with playful poems and rhyming tongue twisters, “It’s a Noisy World” is my first children’s picture book, dedicated to wonderful and weird noises. The book is a great opportunity to have fun reading out loud, making silly sounds, and rhyming to the beat to help encourage a love of language with your favorite tiny humans.
About the book
Words are wonderful things, and this noisy book gives me a chance to explore words with sounds, or if you’re feeling clever, onomatopoeia.
I designed this book so that you can have fun when you read it, because what do kids love more than making silly noises? You can contort your mouth, squish your face, and rumble your lips pretending to be a rocket ship, a drum kit, or a whizzing blender.
This book is a chance to encourage kids to be expressive, to copy mouth and face shapes, to pretend, imagine, and be creative in making noises of the things they hear around them. With young toddlers enjoying the brash and unusual sounds, and older kids practicing the rhyming beats of the short prose, the book is made for all ages.
