The Birds
Calling all you twitchers out there. Capture the spirit of the swooping red kite or the majestic flight of the woodland nuthatch. Three joyful prints to support the RSPB charity and the fantastic work they do for our wild spaces and all of its beautiful creatures.
About the print
Whilst watching the birds fly through my garden here in Nottingham, these playful sketches were cut by hand from old scrap papers. Simplicity of shapes leaves more to the imagination, the sharp angles give flight and speed to the birds, whereas the smooth curved edges leave the impression of effortless gliding. You can gaze at the print and see birds flying as if looking up at the sky, or peering through the trees and seeing the birds building their nests.
